About the event
The world premiere of “See Me: A Global Concert”, will be a shared expression of trust, connection and hope. This unique cinematic journey features Philadelphia's own Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra led by Maestra Johnson along with orchestras and choirs in Beijing, Drakensberg, Florence, Kabul, Vienna and São Paulo, with the cellist Yo-Yo Ma and Music Director Marin Alsop. The concert was filmed on location despite the challenges of COVID-19 and was made possible with major support from Intesa Sanpaolo.
