Experience the power and passion of Dance Theater of Harlem (DTH) as the company returns with a bold, unforgettable season. The centerpiece is the revival of Firebird, DTH’s iconic take on the classic tale of love and transformation. First created in 1982 by John Taras, with stunning sets and costumes by Geoffrey Holder accompanied by live music from the Gateway Festival Orchestra conducted by Jerri Lynne Johnson (April 16, 18. 19). This DTH signature work, set in the Caribbean, is a feast for the senses.
